Let me be clear this post is a concept that I learned from this post from Dan Koe.
He broke down this concept on how to create content from your interests and how you can have a wider reach audience instead of focusing on a specific niche.
It's learning how to categorize your interests in the 3 eternal markets (health, wealth and happiness) and how you can create an infinite amount of content based on what you like doing.
This post is a glimpse of my notes and how this can be applied to almost anything you like.
creators don't know how to incorporate who they are into their content
Here is how to turn 1 idea into 10:
*Non-money-making interests can help you achieve your goals too, so include the things you love talking about
you can write about anything you want you just have to know how to format it
Think about all the things that interest you and choose 3 of them you want to study and learn about or what you already spend time reading or watching
Ex:
After you have chosen the 3 main interests place them into the proper category or market the live in.
The 3 markets are...
Find the overarching market
Ex: UX Design = Business
Breakdown more into topics and subtopics
Ex: How UX design for every business owner
The goal is to cover the entire domain in 6-12months
The Result = Brand Perception
breakdown of the graph:
interests: one of the eternal markets
Main topic: your specific interests
Subtopic: what your going to write about from the main topic
Post even if it sucks!
Create steps a beginner can follow
Structure: hook > body > conclusion
People don't care because they don't understand
Make them aware how it can impact their life
Calling out bad advice shows you have experience and want to help others
Look at the bigger picture - your aim is for growth & to get your content shared
Overtime your content will introduce people to your offer
your tweets should be: authoritative and not too specific
think of the top of the funnel strategy
find the best > study > replicate
Incorporate your interests to make your brand authentic
Create a topic tree to master in 6-12months
write multiple list-style content pieces to establish authority
broaden your writing even if you don't think it won't be shared
Study the best and use as training wheels
