Ok so Im back on the blog. Once again I’m not a huge blogger, but I say what I need to say with brevity. So I saw Captain America yesterday the 26th of july and in my opinion I thought it was a good movie. Plot wise and haven’t read much of the marvel comics of Captain America, but of the little I do know it was a good origin story of how Captain America came to be, so sorry marvel fans if I disgraced my opinion is wrong in any way, for I know how that feels. How I can’t wait till they finally bring together the whole avengers crew. If you weren’t a marvel fan-which I’m more of a DC fan- you might be after watching these movies. One thing that gets me as interested in the animation and fx world, how did they get Chris Evans to be so small or was it a real person who played that role? also the realism to how the got the red skull’s face amazingly believable. Incredible! I give it a 4 out of 5

Ok, I know its been a while since I have posted anything to my blog and those who actually pay attention to my website (if there are any) I want to take another route to this blog thing. Since I am so intrigued in art, primarily animation, and since I could talk about that all day, any day — why not here? So lets begin. On Sat July 2 2011 I went to the movies to go view the wonderful animation of CARS 2 from Disney’s Pixar. I must give a round of applause to the work done to complete this film. A movie that you can take the kids to. First, to start off I was very much impressed by the artwork in the movie. It was very  inticing on the vividness of the life likeness they gave to the locations of the races. Even though I personally never been to Japan or Italy, the artists, i believe, did well in conveying the real beauty of these places. I especially found it funny how they showed a glimpse of Japan and how their technology inclined in everything they do down to sleeping in little pods on the street. Pixar must of done their research well in capturing the essence of the locations. This brought  a dynamic force to the movie. While audience members, not noticing it, felt as if they were apart of the movie and the races. Another thing that gave value to the movie was the camera angles it chose to capture the cars and races. I was also amazed how they gave the cars such depth. Meaning the way the cars moved, turned, and sounds they gave off was truly breathtaking. Once again I was captivated in how pixar and the animators were able to capture something like that. So if I can define the artwork in the movie in one word, breathtaking comes to mind.

Now when I watch a movie its not only for entertainment, but I take notice of the concept and the storyline for I believe this truly makes a movie. The message I received from the movie was friendship, but more importantly identity. Being the comedian of the movie, Mater was conflicted with his friendship with Lightning Mcqueen. However in the end it was Mater who saved the day. Yet the whole reason their was conflict was because of who Mater was and Mcqueen not comfortable with his actions outside their place of comfort (radiator springs). However it was through Maters intelligence and actions that saved the day. This spoke volumes to me because one should be comfortable with who they are and trust in their own decisions and your friends should accept you for who that person is. Great movie!!! A must watch over

During Spring Break I stumbled on this great phenomenon, Chick fil-a The Dwarf House, originally called the The Dwarf House. This is actually the orginal Chick-fil-a before any other Chick-fil-a franchise. It was a great adventure and I brought some new follwers into the kingdom of chicken and this is there experience.
